And come on, the Palm Springs place just has to be “Palm Springs Modern”, right? So the condo in Seattle was perfect for me to go crazy with plants, tassels and dazzling colors. (love!) But, we needed some awesome contemporary furniture pieces to keep it looking, well, contemporary! We also didn’t want to spend too much. Living Room Boho Inspiration

When we designed the condo, we wanted lots of color, contemporary lines, and plenty of Boho room decor. We also wanted plants. Lots and lots of plants. This is kind of the calling card for Bohemian spaces. In the condo, our living space is pretty miniature. Our dining space is part of the room, but we wanted a larger table so that we could entertain. We also wanted a delicate wood tone to complement the dazzling colors we chose for this Boho living room space. The Seno Dining Table turned out to be just about perfect. It has subtle Mid Century lines which are our style. The grain in the top of the table is gorgeous, and this piece is solid oak. Which means, it will last. We have been using it for awhile now, and it wipes immaculate easily, ours seats up to eight, and it looks gorgeous with several different styles of dining chairs. You can get it in two different wood tones and three different sizes. In love with this table!

Another element we wanted in the living room were some touches of glam and sparkle to add a high end feel to this space. Plus, we needed lighting, as the condo was largely lacking in any ceiling lights. (Which I am not a huge fan of anyway. The delicate from the ceiling is always harsh.) Anyone who has read the blog for awhile knows I am a huge fan of rose gold, and this Lissom Floor Lamp in copper definitely satisfied my addiction. When we got it for our Article furniture review, I was really surprised at the quality of it, including the solid marble base that keeps it really stable and adds a wonderful detail. (Love marble, too!) This lamp is just a little over $100. You could buy a floor lamp at a discount store for that same amount, but it would not come close to this level of style and quality. BTW, it also comes in brass if you prefer a gold tone.

Our color scheme is pretty dazzling, but one of the softer colors we used in the room to tone down the other robust colors was a gentle pink. The Silicus side table was a piece I fell in love with at first sight. It is painted tempered glass, and sits on these glamorous gold legs. And, it’s only $99! It wipes immaculate easily, and the legs are stable. This may be one of my favorite pieces in the room. For all you looking for Boho inspiration, notice how our entire color scheme is taken from the lovely Morrocan style rug, and also the other touches of pink throughout the room to create good flow.
