As seen in ’s June 2001 issue, the designer transformed a Los Angeles bungalow into the headquarters for her then-fairly new design firm Kelly Wearstler Interior Design, which she’d founded just 6 years prior.
Housed in a Spanish-style home built in 1936, the Kelly Wearstler headquarters was a labor of love. “I looked at a few suites in those anonymous towers, but they all seemed so corporate,” the designer told in 2001. “I spend so much time here that I wanted it to be a home away from home.”
